Columbiana Co. man charged after routine traffic stop

ALLIANCE, Ohio (WYTV) – A Columbiana County man is facing a felony charge of receiving stolen property after police say stolen items were discovered during a routine traffic stop.

Alliance Police say Kyle Adams was pulled over Friday night for a turn signal violation.

Officers reported finding a ski mask, pry bar and gloves in the trunk of the vehicle.

Police report that Adams admitted to burglaries in Columbiana County and Washington Township in Alliance.

After searching Adams’ residence, police say they discovered stolen guns and tools. This led them to another location, where officers say they found even more items, reportedly stolen in a Columbiana County burglary.
