St. Clair Twp. home invasion suspect arrested in Texas

LISBON, Ohio (WYTV) – A teenager wanted in a St. Clair Township home invasion was arrested in Texas Friday afternoon.

St. Clair police say Austin Sullivan, 18, was placed in custody without incident by sheriff’s deputies in Ellis County, Texas, just outside of Dallas.

He is charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony.

Sullivan, of Fink Road, Kensington, is one of two suspects in the daytime incident on Cannons Mill Road near Glenmoor.

Police say Sullivan and another suspect entered the home of Charles Smith, 69, on December 1st, demanding access to a safe.

During the incident, police say one of the intruders assaulted Smith, leaving him with serious facial injuries.
