WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – City leaders in Warren started a program in September to clean up the city. A code enforcement blitz was implemented targeting commercial structures and so far several citations have been issued.
A total of 38 citations were issued to the owners of several buildings, and 90 percent of those issues were corrected.
The next step in the revitalization plan is to get more people involved in the cleanup effort. Volunteers are being sought.
Anyone interested in helping with the program is urged to attend a press conference scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Office of the Mayor, 391 Mahoning Ave., N.W.
