NEWTON FALLS, Ohio (WYTV) – The case against five men from the Columbus area in connection with a traffic stop in Braceville in November has been continued.

Police arrested Jibril Abdiselam, 24, Mohammeddeq Hassan, 27, Mahamoud Mohamed, 26, Said Abu and Zakaria Warsame, 25, on Nov. 13.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper arrested the five men on the Ohio Turnpike in Braceville Township. Troopers initially pulled over their vehicle for making an improper lane change as it was heading east on the turnpike. During a search of the car, troopers said they found a machine to duplicate and create credit cards, as well as large amounts of American currency.

All five suspects were born in Somalia and are American citizens living in the Columbus area.

Their case being continued means that it is still ongoing.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that a grand jury had indicted the men. We regret the error.
