YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Federal EPA selected Youngstown to receive assistance with upgrading its drinking and waste water systems.
The WaterCARE assistance program will help Youngstown find the best way financially to upgrade its water systems.
Youngstown Law Director Marty Hume says this assistance will allow Youngstown to get the most bang for its buck.
“To look for as many grants as possible. If we can’t get grants, the most cost-effective way to borrow money.”
Youngstown is one of ten cities in the United States to be selected for this assistance.
