Youngstown man charged with raping developmentally disabled person

The charges, stemming from a grand jury in Youngstown, were made official Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A grand jury indicted a Youngstown man Thursday, charging that he sexually assaulted a developmentally disabled person.

The grand jury charged Luis Perez, 60, with gross sexual imposition, rape and sexual battery, according to a grand jury indictment report.

Mahoning County Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer McLaughlin said that Perez sexually assaulted the victim multiple times on the same day.

The indictment report did not list a phone number for Perez.
