Farrell bests Erie First Christian

SLIPPERY ROCK, PA (WYTV)-Farrell punched their ticket to the Class “A” District 10 championship game after topping Erie First Christian 56-34 Tuesday night.

It was a tight first quarter between the two teams that saw the Steelers lead by just 3. But Farrell outscored Erie First 17-7 in the second quarter giving them some breathing room the rest of the way.

Malik Miller led the way for the Steelers with 19 points. He is now just 4 points shy of becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Two other Steelers scored in double-figures led by Terrance Holloway with 15 and Leon Lewis with 10.

Farrell moves on to play Kennedy Catholic in the D10 Class “A” title game Friday night.
