Warren women, charged in babies’ overdoses, appear in court

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Warren mother accused of endangering her children when they ingested opiates last month was back in court Wednesday morning.

18-year-old Carlisa Davis and her mother Lisa Davis both appeared before Judge Wyatt McKay.

Lisa is charged with permitting drug abuse stemming from the investigation that ensued once Carlisa’s two young children were revived with the opiate overdose reversal drug naloxone at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital on February 2nd.

Both children were given a second dose once they got to Akron Children’s main campus.

Pre-trial hearings for both women were rescheduled for April.
