Bristol falls in District Finals

The Panthers end the season with a record of 23-3.


ORWELL, Ohio (WYTV) – Bristol opened the game on a 13-2 run, but it wasn’t enough. The Panthers fell to Cornerstone Christian 68-50 in the Division IV District Finals at Grand Valley High School Friday night.

Tommy Donnadio led the Panthers with 14 points, while Landon Slusher also reached double-figures with 10. Alex Jones added 9 in the setback.

Brandon McQueen led the Patriots with 18 points on the night. Michael Bothwell and Jack Kelsheimer tallied 17 points apiece in the win.

Bristol ends the season with a record of 23-3.

Cornerstone Christian improves to 13-12. The Patriots advance to face the winner of Malvern/Tuscarawas Central Catholic in the Division IV Regional Semifinals Tuesday at 8PM at the Canton Fieldhouse.
