LOWELLVILLE, Ohio (WYTV) – The Poland Rotary hosted its 31st annual Chili Open Golf Classic at the Bedford Trails Golf Course in Lowellville.
WYTV’s Jim Loboy of Daybreak served as the emcee for Saturday’s event.
The Valley winter tradition included a chili eating contest and a putting contest. People could also win prizes and enter a raffle.
“Everything we use for the community. So we’re a completely non-profit organization, and we got 35 great volunteers that make up our club that really puts a lot into each and every one of these events,” said President Chris Cruciger.
The proceeds from the event will benefit the following local charities:

- Mahoning County CASA/GAL
- Making Kids Count
