FARMDALE, Ohio (WYTV) – A Farmdale woman received her sentence Thursday on rape charges surrounding the assault of a teenager.

Regina Turner, 41, was sentenced to six years in jail for raping a 14-year-old boy.

The boy’s grandfather reported the crime in August after his daughter said she found the boy and Turner together in a bedroom in Kinsman.

The boy told police Turner raped him.

His father, who appeared in court on his behalf, said his son had to be pulled out of school and is seeing a psychiatrist as a result of the assault.

“It’s changed him for the worst, and I hope that the judgement that’s passed today will humble her in the best way,” he said prior to sentencing.

Turner told the judge she was drunk and doesn’t remember what happened. Turner pleaded guilty to the charge in late January of 2016.
