Truck crashes, gets stuck, in Youngstown building

The driver was pulled out of the truck Wednesday night

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Rescue crews worked to pull a truck out of a building Wednesday night, after it crashed into it and got stuck.

Crews at the scene said the truck came off the southbound ramp of Interstate 680 and went through a stop sign, driving into the Zabel building.

The company, located on Market Street in Youngstown, sells restaurant equipment and supplies.

The accident occurred around 11 p.m., and the driver was pulled out of the car at 11:20 p.m. The driver was walking around the area after he was extricated Wednesday and appeared to be in good condition.

Dominion was at the scene, checking for any ruptured gas lines.

It is unknown at this time what caused the crash.
