Liberty police cruiser crash

LIBERTY, Ohio (WYTV) – A Liberty Township Police car collided with another vehicle late Thursday afternoon.

The minor crash happened near Liberty High School, at the intersection of Murray Hill Drive and Shady Road.

Ohio State Highway Patrol said the rain did not play a factor in the accident. A patrolman said the Liberty Police officer turned his overhead lights on while he was trying to catch someone running on foot.

Both the officer and the driver of the other car said they didn’t see each other at the intersection. Both cars had minor damage, and no one was injured.
