Marvin Jules, 33, charged with felonious assault

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Mesopotamia man was indicted Tuesday by a Trumbull County grand jury on several charges related to a shooting that injured a Masury woman.

Marvin Jules, 34, is facing four felony charges: felonious assault, kidnapping, tampering with evidence and having weapons while under disability, according to court records.

He was arrested February 22 after calling 911 to report that he shot his girlfriend, Lynda Campbell, because he was jealous. Jules was arrested at the Orange Village Care Center nearby, after he walked there and surrendered to police.

Jules is being held at Trumbull County Jail without bond.
