Man dies from gunshot wounds after shooting in Youngstown


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – One person is dead following a shooting Sunday morning in Youngstown.

Police say they found Michael Pete, 30, on the front porch of a home on East Evergreen Street around 12:45 a.m. with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

He was transported to St. Elizabeth’s, where he later died from his injuries.

A police report lists Jermaine Bunn, 39, as a suspect. Police say Bunn arrived to St. Elizabeth’s afterwards in a private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the face.

The police investigation is ongoing at this time.
