LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The big banner on the side of the General Motors Lordstown plant — the one that can been seen from the Ohio Turnpike — is being replaced.
A crew from Britten Banners out of Traverse City, Michigan, was working Tuesday on the side of the building. The new banner will feature the redesigned Chevy Cruze.
This is the fourth banner on this section of the plant. The first one highlighted the Chevy Cobalt and Pontiac G5. The others were of the Cruze.
After this work is done, the banner on the stamping plant will also be replaced. It currently reads “Cruze Country” and will be changed to “It All Starts Here.”
