Detectives find bullet in coat of human remains in Youngstown

Police discovered a skull and bones in a vacant lot near the corner of Wydesteel and Trussit Avenues on the north side

Police say they found human remains at the corner of Wydesteel and Trussit Avenues in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Detective Doug Bobovnyik confirmed that a bullet was found in clothing on human remains in Youngstown on Sunday.

Police discovered a skull and bones in a vacant lot near the corner of Wydesteel and Trussit Avenues on the north side.

They found the remains in a winter coat. Bobovnyik says the bullet was in the coat.

They still do not have an identification. Detectives are waiting for the coroner’s report.
