The 32 beds are being transferred from Shepherd of the Valley’s Poland facility, which is currently licensed for 89 beds.

Shepherd of the Valley put special emphasis on patient-centered care when developing the plans. The building will have three neighborhoods, all with private rooms and private full bathrooms. The common areas were designed with residents in mind and include an outdoor patio and a happy hour lounge.

“Our staff already excels at giving compassionate care. We wanted to make sure we considered residents’ lifestyle and gave them options that were comfortable while creating a memorable social experience,” Shepherd’s Executive Director Richard Limongi said.
