BEREA, Ohio (WYTV) – If you use the Ohio Turnpike in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties, some traffic pattern changes are coming on Wednesday.

All traffic is being moved to the westbound lanes between mileposts 216.9 and 221.2 through mid-November. The contractor will remove and replace the original pavement in the eastbound right and center lanes in that area.

The traffic pattern change affects drivers exiting the eastbound turnpike at the I-80/I-76 exit (Interchange 218) in Jackson Township. Only two lanes of traffic will be available: Drivers wishing to stay on the turnpike will use the left lane, those exiting for I-80 east will use the right lane.

Also, the pattern change necessitates a closure of the eastbound entrance ramp to the Ohio Turnpike at Lordstown. (Interchange 216).
