Police investigating robbery at Cortland Banks in Hubbard

HUBBARD, Ohio (WYTV) – Police are investigating a robbery at Cortland Banks in Hubbard.

The robbery occurred just after 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to Trumbull County 911 Dispatch.

It was reported that the robber was a man, approximately 5’9″ tall, who was wearing a fake beard and sunglasses and driving a dark-colored GMC Envoy. No weapon was displayed, but the man slipped the bank teller a note.

Investigators were checking the area around the bank for surveillance video. No one is in custody at this time.
