Warren PD: Man shoots at pregnant mistress with pellet gun

The Warren's Citizen Police Awareness Academy has graduated another class.

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Warren Police are investigating an incident where they say a man shot at his pregnant mistress who was trying to buy marijuana from him.

Officers were dispatched to the corner Kenilworth Avenue SE and Youngstown Road just before 1 p.m. on Monday after a woman called 911, saying the man she was having an affair with shot at her and her friend.

She said they went to the man’s house on Kenilworth to buy marijuana, but waited in the street because he requested that they stay off his property.

The woman told police she is two weeks pregnant with his baby and isn’t allowed on his property because he is married.

A police report states that he arrived home and the women asked for the “weed” so they could leave, but he went in the house and came out with a black pistol, firing two rounds at them.

They ran to the corner of Kenilworth and Youngstown and called police. The woman said her friend left before police arrived because she was scared to stay.

She told officers the gun looked real, but sounded fake.

Witnesses said they heard the three talking and saw the man go in the house. After that, they said they heard gunshots and screaming, and saw the women running away.

Police received a search warrant of the house and found a pellet gun, bullet casings and two safes. The man was not home at the time.

No arrests have been made.
