SOUTHINGTON, Ohio (WYTV) – A woman rescued her sister from a fire that completely destroyed their mobile home in Southington on Wednesday.
The fire started just before noon and within minutes, spread from the back bedroom through the entire mobile home.
Chris Plott from the Southington Fire Department says the woman’s bravery may have saved her sister’s life.
“When we pulled up, the structure was fully involved, flames out of the windows. The one daughter went in and got her sister out so yes, it could have been much worse.”
The State Fire Marshal was called out to investigate the fire. No one was injured, but the family lost everything they owned.
