BERLIN CENTER, Ohio (WYTV) – Western Reserve rebounded from a slow start to defeat Sebring, 11-3. Reserve trailed 3-1 entering the bottom of the fourth before outscoring the Trojans 10-0 over the next three innings.
Walker Marlowe finished the game 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored for the Devils. Jacob Clark had three hits while Wyatt Larimer was walked three times and scored three runs (also had a double). Larimer (4-1) was dominant on the mound as he tossed 6 innings, striking out 10 and not allowing an earned run.
For Sebring, Josh Zmuda and Trevor Byers reached base twice.
Western Reserve (18-4) will play the winner of Lowellville/Lisbon on Tuesday (May 17) at 4 pm at Cene Park.
