YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Mahoning County grand jury indicted one man on aggravated murder charges.

Bernard Barnes, 57, was indicted Thursday on multiple charges in the death of 57-year-old Kenneth Evans.

Evans was found shot in the stomach around 10 p.m. last Friday night in the 1900 block of Manhattan Avenue on the city’s west side, where police say the two were arguing over a woman. He died of his wounds a few hours later at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

Barnes was arrested at a home on W. LaClede Avenue, about the same time Evans died.
