Mercer Co. DUI Task Force patrolling during Memorial Day holiday

MERCER CO., Pa. (WYTV) – The Mercer County DUI Task Force will be continuing its impaired driving enforcement efforts during the 2016 Memorial Day holiday.

The task force says it will be utilizing roving DUI patrols, as well as fixed sobriety checkpoints on targeted roadways throughout the Mercer County area in an attempt to reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes and fatalities.

The task force said it is committed to making area roadways safer by removing drivers who have made the decision to operate a vehicle while they are impaired from the use of alcohol and/or drugs.
