Relay for Life begins in Boardman with survivors’ lap

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WYTV) – Boardman’s annual Relay for Life began Friday evening at the old stadium behind the middle school.

About 200 people were there early on in the night.

The big event Friday was when the cancer survivors took the first lap around the track.

The Boardman Relay for Life will last overnight, ending at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The money raised goes to the American Cancer Society.
