YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The YWCA in Youngstown hosted its second annual dance-a-thon Saturday night to raise money for its programs benefiting women and families.
Several professional and cultural dance groups performed and taught those who attended some new moves.
The dancing was broken into four 45-minute nonstop sessions. Themed music kept people of all ages moving, with different styles of dance for each session.
“The response is better than last year and as I said, we just keep hoping it gets better and better,” said Development Director Varada Bhide.
Event coordinators said this is one of the smaller fundraisers they organize, but it’s the most fun.
