YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Oh Wow! Children’s Museum celebrated its 5th anniversary on Saturday with a fun-filled weekend.
The museum, located in downtown Youngstown on W. Federal Street, hosted its own birthday celebrations and offered sales. Organizers also laid out plans for the future.
“We’re looking to install a prosthetic limb exhibit and incorporate some 3D printing, perhaps,” Colleen Ruby said. “We’re also working on some exhibits that deal with adaptive sports that tie in with our wheelchair racer and hopefully, an exhibit that deals with hearing, and it’ll be called ‘Discover Early Zone.'”
The Oh Wow! Children’s Museum houses many exhibits for children of all ages. It is open Sunday through Tuesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
