CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct an OVI checkpoint on Saturday in Boardman.
The checkpoint will be conducted on Market Street near Ferncliff Avenue from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The Mahoning County OVI Task Force will assist.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grants, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
