3 injured in Route 11 crash in Liberty

One lane southbound was closed for about two hours

Three people were injured in a rollover crash on Route 11 in Liberty Township, Ohio.

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WYTV) – Traffic was backed up for about two hours along Route 11 in Liberty Township after a 1999 Jeep Cherokee went off the road and rolled over.

One lane southbound was closed, just south of Tibbetts Wick Road.

Three people were taken from the scene in an ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

Five people were in the vehicle. One of the occupants told police they were returning from Nelson Ledges Quarry Park.

Hannah Lanza-Roth, 21, of Poland is charged with failure to control. She was the driver of the Jeep Cherokee.

The driver, Sidney Lewis, 18, of Canfield and Sarah Shorokey, 21, of Youngstown were taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for their injuries. Lewis and Shorokey were not wearing seat belts.

Joseph Mika, 21, of Canfield and Britton Steiginga, 22, of New Waterford were not injured.
