Youngstown OVI checkpoint ends in drug arrest

Ryan Kashubara was arrested during an OVI checkpoint in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Butler County man was arrested at an OVI checkpoint in Youngstown after police say they found drugs and money inside vehicle.

Ryan Kashubara, 29, was stopped by the Mahoning County OVI Task Force at a checkpoint Saturday located Market Street and Hillman Avenue.

Police say they found cocaine and other drugs in Kashubara’s vehicle.

When Kashubara was booked into the Mahoning County Jail, deputies found more cocaine and marijuana on him.

Kashubara is charged with illegal conveyance of drugs, drug trafficking and an OVI charge.
