YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Anna Nikolaides of Warren is one of the many success stories Dr. Shayesteh has helped craft over the years.
Anna has been working with Dr. Shayesteh for the past year after deciding she needed to make a drastic lifestyle change.
When asked what brought her to the doctor, she said, “One morning I went to get out of bed and I couldn’t walk. I told my husband ‘I’m not going to make it to 60 years old,’ I was 58. I need to do something.”
Over the last year, Anna has lost 80 pounds.
How did Dr. Shayesteh help in such a successful transformation? “I mentioned this is not an impossible mission. This can be done by educating yourself on how to eat right…but we didn’t impose a decision on her, we didn’t control her, but I educated her. She’s using the knowledge to make healthy choices.”
Throughout her journey, Anna made huge diet changes and walked 4 to 5 miles a day, while also changing a lot of biological things in her body.
Dr. Shayesteh said she looks 8 to 10 years younger than last year and that’s because she avoided inflammatory disease, diabetes, cholesterol issues, cardiovascular disease and countless other health issues.
