Mahoning County Pound looking for stolen dog

The dog is described as a mid-sized pit bull terrier, tan in color with some white

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Mahoning County Dog Pound is looking for a dog it says was stolen from the facility.

The dog named Elliot was taken from the pound around 1:20 p.m. May 20. Witnesses saw a man walking the dog into an older model Silver Trailblazer with 30-day tags and then driving away.

Elliot is described as a mid-sized pit bull terrier, tan in color with some white.

A $500 reward is being offered by private donors for information leading to where Elliot may have been taken. Tipsters’ information will be kept confidential, according to the pound.
