Three males charged with discharging firearms into occupied structure

According to the police report, the people involved were part of an ongoing dispute

ELLWOOD CITY, PA (WYTV) – Dylan Main, 19, and Devin Myers, 19, of Ellwood City and Shaquone Lockeit, 20, of Youngstown were stopped by Ellwood City police after they were observed driving a vehicle at a high rate of speed from the area where an officer heard several gunshots.

According to the police report, the suspects were in possession of a semi-automatic rifle and pistol.

The incident happened on May 28 at 6:40 p.m. at 1569 West Lawrence Avenue, Wayne Township, Lawrence County.

Four victims, John Pounds, 51, Bernadette Pounds, 56, Rinay Pounds, 20, and a juvenile male, 3, reported to troopers that they discovered several bullet holes in their residence, which they occupied at the time of the shooting.

Troopers recovered projectiles that penetrated into the interior of the residence, according to the report, which also stated the suspects and family members of the victims were involved in an ongoing dispute.

The suspects were charged with aggravated assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, criminal conspiracy, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

They were taken before Magisterial District Judge Jennifer Nicholson and a preliminary arraignment bond was set at $50,000 for each of the accused.

The suspects were committed to the Lawrence County Jail.
