WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – The man accused of killing of 3-year old Russell Cottrill in Trumbull County was back in court on Monday.
Arthur Harper’s trial was postponed earlier this year because of a scheduling conflict with the Oakhill corruption case. Harper’s lawyer, John Juhasz, was on the defense team for former Mahoning County Auditor Michael Sciortino.
Harper is charged with murder in the death of three-year-old Russell Cottrill, the son of a woman who he was dating. Investigators say the boy suffered head trauma while he was alone with Harper. He later died in the hospital.
Harper’s next court date is scheduled for July 11.
