YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – If you are looking for some good summer reading, there is a book sale in Youngstown that organizers say you won’t want to miss.
The West Public Library closed April 30 to get ready for the new Michael Kusalaba Branch being built on the site. Before the building is torn down, it will be open to the public to buy books and other items from inside the library.
Staff said it is a great chance to get some deals on summer reading, supplies and furniture.
Next summer, a brand new, state-of-the-art library will be open.
“The new libraries are becoming community centers filled with technology and state-of-the-art programs that all of our patrons and customers are looking forward to,” said Deborah Liptak, development director at the library.
The sale started Monday and runs through Wednesday. The hours each day are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
