Woman charged after caught shoplifting at Burlington in Niles

WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Warren Police arrested a woman who they say was caught shoplifting at the Burlington Coat Factory in Niles on Thursday afternoon.

Officers were called to the store around 3:15 p.m.

They discovered that 30-year-old Christine Coontz, of Windham, had a warrant out of Butler County and also failed to pay over $400 in fines and costs to Warren Municipal Court.

Coontz was arrested and taken to Trumbull County Jail.

She was later charged with theft and possessing drug abuse instruments.
