NORTH LIMA, Ohio (WYTV) – Sunday was the Beaver Township Ruritan Club’s 12th annual Father’s Day Car Show.

Cars from all over the Valley were on display at the new South Range High School. People could enjoy all the cars along with multiple prizes and entertainment, but most of all spending some quality time with Dad.

“We decided to honor all fathers on Father’s Day. And all fathers mostly have cars, some wives have cars also. But it just has been a fun event and everybody was looking for something local, and so my husband and I started this 12 years ago, and each year it has just grown and grown,” said Linda Kappler, president of the Beaver Township Ruritan Club.

The Ruritan Club is a civic organization dedicated to making communities a better place to live through fellowship, goodwill and community service, according to their website.

All the funds raised from the event are put into a general fund that supports the school and other various events throughout the community, like providing scholarships to graduating seniors.
