LIBERTY, Ohio (WYTV) – A man who police said severely beat his wife in front of the Denny’s restaurant in Liberty has been indicted on three counts of felonious assault and domestic violence charges.
In April, police said Josue Rodriguez chased the woman through the parking lot of Denny’s, later beating her with a brick as bystanders tried to pull him away. She was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with a broken jaw and other injuries.
Police said Rodriguez had accused the woman of cheating on him. Prior to the attack, Rodriguez also rammed several vehicles in the parking lot with his car, pushing an employee’s car into the side of the building, according to police.
