POLAND, Ohio (WYTV) – Over 100 golfers took to the Lake Club in Poland on Monday for the United Way golf outing.
Golfers were able to enjoy the full 18 holes of golf, and were treated to a day of bocce and snow cones on the course. Some even played golf with a canon gun.
The United Way says all of the money raised stays in the area.
“All this money does stay local. It’s going to help early education programs, emergency services in the Mahoning Valley, so everything raised here will stay in the Mahoning Valley,” said United Way representative Roxann Sebest.
This was the second annual United Way golf outing. The Lake Club says they hope to keep this tradition going for many years to come.
