YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Not all carbs are created equal. Some are good, while others are bad, but public perception has been that they are all bad.
Carbohydrates are the most important nutrients in our diets. Many people, however, believe that they should be avoiding all carbs, which isn’t the case.
The problem isn’t that carbohydrates are bad, it’s the type of carbohydrates that most people consume are really bad.
There are two types of carbs. One type is known as processed carbs, which are the ones that come from food products such as white bread and pasta. All processed white carbohydrates are the most dangerous and, unfortunately, are the most commonly consumed.
