YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – It’s the season for road work in Youngstown, as the first of this summer’s paving project begins.
Crews were working on Poland Avenue on the city’s south side on Wednesday. It is just one of a number of projects planned over the next several months totaling about $13 million.
Some roads will be milled and repaved this month, but others will begin after July 1 when funding for the work becomes available.
Between now and mid-September, officials hope to pave close to 60 streets around the city.
