Youngstown man charged with shooting during fight

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Youngstown man was arrested after police said he fired a gun at another man.

Police were called to the 3500 block of Valerie Drive at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for gunshots in the area. A man told police he was shot at after being set up for a fight, according to a police report.

Cory Dodd-Baumgartner was charged with felonious assault and discharging a firearm within city limits. He was taken to Mahoning County Jail.

Police said a spent shell casing was found in the area of the shooting.
