Youngstown man indicted on charges for hitting landlord with ax

Police said Jason Swegan hit the landlord in the face during a confrontation

Jason Swegan was charged with felonious assault in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) РA Mahoning County grand jury indicted a Youngstown man on charges accusing him of hitting a landlord in the face with an ax.

Jason Swegan, 41, is charged with two counts of felonious assault.

Police said the landlord confronted Swegan, who was on the landlord’s South Heights property, in May.

He told officers that Swegan hit his cheek with an ax, injuring him.
