Hartford Hill Winery offering reward for arrest of robbers

$5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers

HARTFORD, Ohio (WYTV) – A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in an armed robbery at Hartford Hill Winery.

Hartford Hill Winery owner Randy Wyand said he is offering $2,500 and the Farm Bureau is offering $2,500 for information on the crime. He called the circumstances of Saturday night’s robbery strange.

A woman told police her car was stolen and she and a friend were robbed of several items in the parking lot around 11:30 p.m., after the winery had closed.

The men who robbed the couple were armed, according to a police report. They drove off in the car, but police later found it and stolen cell phones nearby.

The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office said all of the men were wearing bandanas over their faces, gloves and black or camouflage clothing.

Those with information should call the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office at 330-675-2508.
