Youngstown Police respond to shooting at West Hylda, Market

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Police responded to a shooting at West Hylda Avenue and Market Street early Saturday morning.

Police received a call of shots being fired around 2:45 a.m., but when they arrived, witnesses said the cars of both the suspect and the victim had fled the scene.

No victim was found, but police did find several shell casings and blood on the road.

A section of road was blocked off until around 4 a.m.

The incident is under investigation.
