YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A grand jury indicted a Youngstown man on charges related to a May shooting in Boardman.
Edward Gibson, Jr. is charged with improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation, discharge of firearm on or near prohibited premises, having weapons while under disability, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and aggravated menacing.
Police said Gibson shot into a home on E. Western Reserve Road after attempting to get money from a man who lived there. The man was not home at the time, but Gibson threatened a woman there, according to a police report.
The woman told police he left, then came back and fired two shots before driving away.
