WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WYTV) – A 25-year-old man was charged with burglarizing an elderly woman’s home.
Wellsville Police Chief Ed Wilson said the burglary occurred sometime between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. at 717 Washington St. The woman was not home at the time.
A television and jewelry were among items reported stolen.
The suspect was caught on video from a nearby homeowner’s surveillance system, according to Wilson. Police identified him as Justin Schneider, of Wellsville. He is charged with burglary and trespassing.
His mother, Elizabeth Schneider, is accused of driving him to East Liverpool after the burglary and is charged with receiving stolen property. Police said the stolen goods were in the car.
