Shajuan Samaniego-Hall, arrested on a warrant for burglary in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a Youngstown woman on a burglary warrant on Wednesday.

Police said the suspect, Shajuan Samaniego-Hall, was uncooperative with officers and that she said, “I’m not going to jail. You’re going to have to shoot me.”

Officers who tried placing her under arrest used a taser to handcuff Samaniego-Hall, according to a police report. While she was taken to Mahoning County Jail, police said she threatened officers saying, “I hope God murders you in your sleep,” and, “The only reason you are arrested me is because you are white and I am black.”

Samaniego-Hall was additionally charged with resisting arrest and taken to Mahoning County Jail.
