WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – One Trumbull County school got a big check Wednesday.
Home Savings & Loan gifted $25,000 to John F. Kennedy High School in Warren. A check presentation ceremony was held in the school’s gymnasium Wednesday.
The money is being used for lighting for the school’s gym. The school says that not only will this help in the short term to prevent heat coming off the lights but with long-term cost savings.
“It’s gonna take our electricity down. Those things are important, you know, when you’re running a Catholic school. Budget money as best you can,” said Joseph Kenneally, president of the school.
The new lights are expected to be delivered August 11 and should be installed two days later.
